Bholu was sitting on the couch with his face buried in his hands, a picture of dismay, as I walked into his house.

Me: Bholu….What happened?
Bholu Bhakt: Bhai, kya batau… I am very depressed…

Me: Aww Bholu, why? What happened?
Bholu Bhakt: Bhai, this Government…so much is going wrong with the Country and they arent doing anything.

Me (stunned for a moment): You…seriously? Like what? The Corruption?
Bholu Bhakt: Yes, there is still corruption everywhere, even when we said ki Junta maaf nahi karegi.

Me: Hmm yeah and the crime rate going up…
Bholu Bhakt: Yes, our women are still not safe on the streets, they cant even go out to get groceries without being eve teased..

Me: True..and the economy…
Bholu Bhakt: Bhai, economy ka kya batau…the items are still getting expensive, the salaries are still the same, though the official figures say one thing, the reality is different. Farmers are still committing suicide…..

I was visibly taken aback to hear such words coming out of Bholu Bhakt’s mouth but this was too good to be true and I wasnt going to let it go so easily.

Me: So Bholu, what do you think? What should the Government be doing? Kya Karna chahiye??
Bholu Bhakt (looking at me with a gleam of hope sparkling in his eyes): Bhai…..Ram Mandir banana chahiye
